Pretty nice place with good tapas and a lovely atmosphere. Food tastes great. Good selection.
Located in the underground place ;) so that is where the atmosphere comes from
We spotted this place by chance on our way to the Electric Brixton and we noticed this cute place on the side of a church and we stopped by!
We ordered 3 tapas and paid 19£.
Tortillas, croquettes de jamon and salad and everything was absolutely delicious with the perfect afternoon summer vibes!
Having been to Gremio’s at 2am on a Saturday night, I was shocked to learn that the establishment doubled as a restaurant. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The tapas was delicious, reasonably priced and the atmosphere / service was great. Would particularly recommend the pork belly.
Just had an amazing meal, we went for 6 plates in total and where left very full. Service was and the Sangria was out of this world. Would defernetly recommned to others. A great place for a date or a group of friends. 4.7/5
The bouncer Michelle was the best bouncer I've met in my 6years of living in London. She made sure I made my way back home safely, even taking the extra mile to ensure I get to my bus stop safely. All the bouncers were really good tonight, they were all friendly and I felt safe:)
Looking for great tapas? Look no further than this piece of Spain in the heart of Brixton. This place ticks all the boxes with a great selection of vegetarian and vegan choices too - more than we could order so heading back soon. Grab a bottle of Rioja and order away. The food was delicious. 💃 🇪🇸🍷👍
Servers were exceptionally friendly and food was good and reasonably priced. whether they were short staffed we found the wait for food and drinks was longer than probably should be.
If you don;t like noise this place would not be for you .
This spot is in the basement of a church, so you'll be greeted by a group of homeless people sheltering at the front. As you enter, there's an open space for drinks with music blasting through the speakers, you won't be enjoying any conversation here and y personally didn't enjoy the music either. At the back of the place there is the restaurant, music still loud here, meaning everyone around is yelling to engage in any kind of conversation, the noisy environment is enhanced by the bricked vaulted ceiling making the acoustics rather unpleasant. The food is average, probably the worst tapas bar in London I've ever been and definitely unacceptable for Spanish standards, but we are not in Spain so we'll leave it at average.
Drinks arrived when we were nearly finished with the food but that seemed to be an oddity that only happened to us.
On a positive note, the place is not too expensive
